- The two W: What and Why
What is a logo? The logo is a combination of symbolics and graphics with two objectives: give visibility to the brand to whom the logo is linked and depict in a visual way the brand’s core activities. The logo is significantly important for a brand because it contributes to brand identity and represents the value around the brand. So, the logo is the visual element that allows customers to immediately recognize the brand. For these reasons, it gets put on all products. ( grafica con persona con dubbi e punti interrogativi)
- The logo and European Projects
The logo in European Projects is quite often underestimated as well as the communication activity since project managers and investigators prefer spending more resources (Human and financial) on the project core activities such as the development of new tools or conducting new research and inventions rather than setting up a communication plan.
Conversely, the Be-Ready team considers fundamental the logo and communication for a project. The fact is simple: You can develop the best tool ever but if you don’t promote your tool and research between the community who can know it? The project impact is higher in case of stakeholders and community involvement. Additionally, a good communication plan is beneficial not only for the project and partners but also for the European Union.
- Be-Ready logo
In European Projects, the use of the logo is really important as it contributes to creating project visibility and identity. The logo should give an immediate depiction of the project’s main theme.
For the creation of our project logo and slogan, the idea is to represent the marine environment in which the Be-Ready project operates. The blue marks summarize the context (the sea) in which the program is active. The green sign is a check, a “checkmark” and is normally used to indicate the concept of “yes”, of confirmation, or the fact that a certain theme is under control. In its entirety, the icon aims to represent Be-Ready’s prompt response to problems and emergencies, such as accidents or sudden polluting episodes, in the marine environment.
